A Kid’s favorite and it’s a recipe for busy days. For other choices, got another way of cooking fried chicken using leftovers.

How to cook Crispy fried chicken:


1 k chicken, cut into pieces or chicken leg parts

1 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. white pepper

1 tbsp. local lemon juice (calamansi)

For dredging:                                                             

1/2 c all purpose flour

1/2 tsp. Ginasa mix

1/8 tsp pepper

1 tbsp. paprika

* Marinade chicken pieces in salt,pepper and local juice for an hour. or you can let it stay overnight.You can do this in advance.

*Drain the excess marinade.

*Dredge  in dredging flour mixture,coat chicken parts with flour properly.Deep fry in hot vegetable oil,cover the pan and cook it until golden brown. Reduce the heat. Turn chicken pieces and cook it evenly browned.

*Drain off oil. Remove from the pan,arrange chicken pieces on a warm serving dish.

*Serve hot with salad or achara.

Note: If you want to keep it hot,keep it inside styropor box lined with aluminum foil, and cover it tightly. Avoid air inside.Do not over- estimate the amount of chicken you want to cook because it will go to waste.
